Tiger Tailgate large detail view

This is a close-up view of an airbrush job I did on the tailgate of a pickup for Henry Salas in Portales, NM. If you really want to zoom in, click on the image and it will pop up at 1024 X 760 resolution (very large). If you scroll down the page a bit you'll see more images from this job.

"Excalibur" sword hood mural

This is a mural I did on the hood of a Jag sedan for Salamon Salas. I basically ripped the background from a Maxfield Parrish illustration and added the sword in the stone in the foreground. This photo was taken prior to the clear coat, so the colors aren't quite as rich here as the finished project.

"Skull" motorcycle tank

This is a skull graphic I did on a Honda tank.

"Vulcan Fire" Photoshop artwork

Generally, I try to do artwork in Photoshop before I actually do an airbrush job. That way the client sees exactly what they are getting and there are no misunderstandings. This is one of three versions I worked up for a Vulcan owner.

"Vulcan Fire II" Photoshop artwork

This is the one of three versions of artwork I did for a Vulcan owner.

"Vulcan Tiger" Photoshop artwork

This is one of three versions of art I worked up for a Vulcan owner.

"Hippie Magic" flames and lettering

This is a job I did recently for my cousin "Bodi". As you might guess, he's a die-hard retro-hippie who spends most of his life on the road. Anyway, he got this van recently, and was having everybody he knows do some painting on it. He did some tribal graphics with a rattle-can, and his sister Ceretha did the flowers. When it was my turn, I did the old school flames and striping, and the "Hippie Magic" lettering. He didn't want to go the cost of a base coat/ clear coat job, so I used 1-Shot Sign enamels on this one.

Toyota FJ Cruiser "Breaker" graphics

This is an airbrush job I did recently on a Toyota FJ Cruiser. The owner had seen something similar in a magazine, so I gave it my best shot. Unless the customer specifies otherwise, I use House of Kolor urethane paints on all my vehicle paint jobs.

Toyota FJ Cruiser Breaker graphics detail

This is a close-up view of the breaker I airbrushed on the Toyota FJ Cruiser.

Tiger Tailgate

This is the finished tailgate.

Wall Mural of Flamed Truck

After I finished painting the actual truck, the owner wanted me to paint a life-size mural of it on the cinder block wall of his body shop (so far, he has had me paint all but one of his vehicles on the walls). I used the photograph of the finished truck to work from, and painted it with liquid acrylics.

Flamed Pickup Front 3/4 View

This is a pickup I airbrushed a few years back for Henry Salas, owner of Unique Body & Paint in Portales, NM. Henry wanted some big cats integrated with the flames, so I put a lion on the side, and a tiger on the back tailgate.
